Misha's main subject matter is emotion, so naturally her work is highly personal and biographical in ways that create a direct, emotional response from the viewer. Misha's unlikely fusion of amorphic modernism utilized for pseudo domestic function creates a response seemingly both familiar and unknown. Misha confounds the intellectual loop expected by most contemporary discourse, choosing rather the freedom of expansive multiple and varied ‘meanings’. As Fredrik Kiesler said "Form does not follow function, function follows vision", Misha’s work would be at home in the architect’s unrealized Endless House, or his Art of this Century gallery commissioned by Peggy Guggenheim.
