Electric paintings inhabit a gap between the physical reality of my painting and what is known today as the “electronic self”. A large part of our conscious is reflected in the digital medium. These works stem from memory, both instant memory and remnants of the past, creating analogies between complex ideas and impulses proceeding from one’s brain.
Electric paintings are not only spontaneous but also free because digital resources are infinite, they offer the possibility of painting infinitely. Also, they allow me to produce a live painting and video-recording without my hand shading this process, that is, drawing by layers and creating a more or less abstract image as a record of the creative act.
